Lycaeni

 

A perfume box for a packaging assignment which is part of the animal semantics project for the semester, to create a series of graphic forms to express characteristics of a single animal chosen from the visit to the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, Singapore. Lycaeni (derived from the butterfly family name Lycaenidae) is a mock-up brand developed to be 'sold' in the LKCNH museum store; various perfume bottles each carrying the scent of the southeast asian flower which a certain type of southeast asian butterfly flock to. The box describes the butterfly on the box, as well as the flower it is connected to.
